Synopsis
The story unfolds on Vithian, a distant planet where two mortal nations — the Keepers of Water and the Bearers of Fire — live in eternal conflict, divided by their forgotten gods.
A mortal woman, filled with grief and hope, comes to the sacred Lake Vithian and speaks to the water. Her tear falls into its core, awakening the God of Water, a being of light and memory. He takes human form — luminous, ethereal — and falls in love with her. From their union is born Vitality, a child of two worlds: divine and human, immortal and alive. Her eyes mirror the universe, her soul pulses with compassion.
In the realm of fire, the God of Fire also breaks divine law, taking a mortal woman as his lover. From that bond comes Korr, a demigod born without a heart — a weapon of destruction who knows neither pain nor mercy. His very existence is forged to conquer.
The war between fire and water devastates the planet. Amid the chaos, Korr falls mortally wounded on the shores of Lake Vithian. Vitality, moved by compassion, reaches for him — and in that instant, fire meets water.
